Highland Wildcat Trails - Golspie
Superb trails built into the hillsides over looking Golspie and the North Sea. A privately operated mountain bike centre with superbly built trails. Well worth the trip north. A small £4 donation per rider is required.

Trails:
Pict's Path- An easy trail which starts from the Highland Wildcat car park. On easy gradients and good surface. This track can easily be linked up to other roads and tracks in the Sutherland Estate to make a longer ride. Make sure you're properly equiped.

Blue Route- An easy trail through woodland, with some single track. Starts from the Highland Wild car park.

Red Route- Well graded singletrack climbs through the forrest, with small features to negotiate. The decent is fast flowing burms jumps and drop-offs. The jumps and drop-offs can be rolled over, or for the more experienced there is big air possibility.

Black Route- Carrying on from the top of the Red Route, is the fiendishly difficult Lactic Ladder climb. The trails skirts around the back of the Duke of Sutherland monument, before plunging down Scotlands longest section of continuous downhill singletrack. Big fast jumps and drops on loose gravel are interlaced with rock shoots. Lower down is a relentless section technical of features. The trail then connects back with the Red Route for the final swooping down hill. For expert mountain bikers.
