- Dornoch: A short drive South from Golspie is the historic small town where Madonna married. On the Dornoch Firth, and a National Scenic Area, why not try your hand on the championship golf course, or explore the spiritual and administrative centre of Sutherland. Dornoch has also become the first Fairtrade town in the Highlands.
- Glenmorangie Distillery Tours: One of the most famous of Scotland's Single Malts, Glenmorangie has tours all year. Find out how Whisky is made, and try some of Glenmorangie's vast range of 'Cask Finishes'.
- Dunrobin Castle: The largest house in Northern Scotland which boosts 189 rooms. This French influenced Castle is just 1 mile north of Golspie boasting views over the North Sea. Open every day from 1 April to 15 October.
