Newcastleton - Directions
- By Air: The nearest airport with Scheduled flights is at Newcastle upon Tyne.
- By Road: From Carlisle join the A7 heading north. Around 8km after Longtown, turn right to join the B6357 at Canonbie. Turn left at the junction in the centre of Canonbie and continue on the B6357 for around 16km to Newcastleton. Just before entering Newcastleton, look for the turning on the right, signposted for Dykecrofts. Follow the road for around 2km to reach the trail head at the visitor centre.
