Drumlanrig Castle : As well as the fantastic mountain bike trails at Drumlanrig, you can visit the Castle which is open seasonally or alternatively and have a look round the cycling museum.
Morton Castle: If you manage to locate this tucked away Castle ruin, you'll find a 13th century hall house of the Douglases. It is located in an impressive location high up above Morton Lochs. To get there take the second turning on the right 1.5 miles East of Carronbridge on the A702.
